A Pre-Season Planning and Preparation Workshop for the Outdoor Season
Set yourself up for a successful outdoor 2025 season! Join Vermont Growers Association, Rural Vermont, and Ben Wilcox of Off Piste Farm, a licensed Tier 1 Outdoor Cultivator, in the Northeast Kingdom on Saturday, April 5th from 10am to 1pm for a cannabis pre-season planning and prep workshop. Rural Vermont and VGA will provide key legislative and policy updates from the statehouse and be available to answer questions throughout the workshop.
Retailer Principles
As Jon at Spruce Mountain Cannabis and Matthew and their team at Gram Central are well aware, Vermont, despite its small size, is home to world-class cannabis producers. To ensure the success of the regulated cannabis industry, it must prioritize shared interests over division, collaboration over competition, systemic reform over individual gain, and create a just and viable marketplace similar to Vermont’s thriving beer and cheese industries. The Retailer Principles offer a set of clear and guiding values that retailers can adopt and play a crucial role in the market.
Vermont Cannabis Industry Emergency Fund
Cannabis farms and businesses are not eligible for federal emergency relief dollars, and the ongoing extreme weather events, as the result of human-caused climate change, affect licensees up and down the adult-use supply chain. The VGA Vermont Cannabis Industry Emergency Fund (VCIEF) is a collective action initiative for the industry by the industry, and grants are now open for applications.
The VCIEF is available to assist Vermont-licensed cannabis farms and businesses of every type in financial need after being adversely affected by natural and unnatural disasters.Learn more →

Consumer Petition to Remove the THC Caps from Act 164
When Vermont enacted Act 164 in October of 2020, allowing the state to tax and regulate cannabis, it became the only state to include THC caps in an adult-use cannabis marketplace, limiting solid cannabis concentrates to 60% THC and cannabis flower to 30% THC. Take a moment now to add your name to the petition to remove the THC caps and reform the prohibitive product language in Act 164. We have earned the support of the CCB to reform the THC caps and now we need your help to finish the fight in the State House. Sign the petition →
